    overall ok but

"I bought natural gas model. Overall okay I can use it. here is something to note, 1. BTU is not high, you can feel it, heating up takes some time 2. ignite side burner or rear burner is not straight forward even waited a while to ignite - may need try several times 3. grill rack is rustless but the tar can be hard to remove not including many accessaries. USA has bundle but not seen in CA market! so have to spend extra money."

    Would not buy again

"I’m not happy with the temperature dispersion. It’s way hotter at the back of the grill than in the front. I would have thought for the amount of money spent on a high end grill that I wouldn’t have to rotate my food while cooking. A burger patty on the back of the grill will be burnt and the one at the front will be not cooked through. I went back to the store I purchased it from and they made it seem like Napoleon knows this about their grills. They then showed me an even more expensive version that had some upgraded heat dispenser pyramids with slits cut in the front. MAYBE that would help all of Napoleons grills with their heat dispersion. If the heat dispersion is such a known thing with Napoleon grills then they should be offering the updated heat dispenser pyramids to all new customers grills. Napoleon help me with my grill!"

    Built like a tank

"A well made grill that will serve me well. It has an even temperature making it easier to cook. Looking forward to cook with the rotisserie, this grill is well thought out. I am so glad we bought this, it was pricey but worth the investment. Will keep you posted."

    Great Quality

"I was very impressed with the quality of my Napoleon. I especially like the back of the grill being totally enclosed. It keeps the squirrels out and other pests. Controls work nice and easy to adjust. I am very pleased so far. Crew dropped it off while I was at work and even installed my propane for me. Great service and I highly recommend to all who aren’t sure. John"

Grills fine, but I CANNOT Register the grill. . .

"Just received grill today. It works very well. The problem is I cannot register the product. I tried scanning the code. . . which gave me “does not exist”. I then did via the website. . . like 10 times. All cells filled accurately. . . then registration fails. Good luck talking to anyone. Maybe that’s why they offer a 15 year warranty. . . they don’t let you register for it!!"

This should be the last grill I'll be buying.

"The Prestige 500 is a solidly built, robust piece of outdoor kitchen equipment. My only real gripe about it is that the storage compartment doors are difficult to adjust. My wife's comment is that due to the way the LP tank sits into the plastic holder, it is difficult for her to change the tanks. Otherwise, the grill works as advertised. This newest revision (2026) provides a few nice improvements such as the much better caster wheels, fuller width rotisserie burner, and the ""disappearing"" lid for the side burner. However, I was sad to see that the fold-down side table was eliminated."

    Faulty wiring

"I have an issue that every time it rains the left burner knob lights up for no reason. I have to disconnect the batteries to shut it off."

Sorry I took a chance on Napoleon

"I bought the Prestige 500 RSIB in 2024 and used it for two summers, and I'm sorry I made the switch from the brand I used for 30+ years. The Napoleon grill has extremely uneven heating across the grilling surface. It's so much cooler at the front as to make this area unusable. The design of the lid, which slides over a fixed top, is something they call a feature, but I say is a bug. The effect of this design is to direct heat right back at the user. Overall, the grill emits loads of heat back at you. I even need a grilling glove to open the lid. Cooking is a very unpleasant experience. Speaking of heat, the grill gets so hot it is hard to control. If you want everything to cook at 900 degrees, this is your grill. I use my grill on a cement patio, which is intentionally unlevel (sloping away from the house and side to side). The slope causes the cart to rack, and this prevents the cabinet doors from opening. The wheels get stopped on even the slightest twig or crack in the cement. Because it was a major investment, I tried to like this grill, but I just can't."

    Controlled Excellence

"So nice to have even, controlled heat. Still getting used to cooking on as barbecue this nice. Should have moved to a Napoleon years ago."

    Difficult to change propane tanks

"It’s great except but it is difficult to change propane tanks with this unit as opposed to my older Napoleon grill."
