Horrible instructions but good performance

"We bought our new BBQ from Home Depot a few weeks ago. I would have given it 5 stars - as we really like it’s performance - but I have to say the instructions it came with were INSANE!! No explaining just pictures…. some of them weren’t even accurate. Luckily I have a handy husband who is very capable assembling. However, It took him a full day (with some swearing!) of getting the job done. In his own words: Those were THE WORST instructions EVER!! So not impressed about that…. Napoleon…. . but as I said before we love our new BBQ."

Great Grill

"After spending time with the Freestyle™ 425, I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations. The grill heats up quickly, reaches high temperatures with ease, and maintains consistent heat across the cooking surface. Whether I'm grilling steaks, burgers, chicken, or vegetables, everything cooks evenly and comes out with excellent flavor. The build quality is impressive. The grill feels solid, the controls are smooth and responsive, and the stainless steel cooking grids produce beautiful sear marks while being easy to clean. I also appreciate the thoughtful design, from the folding side shelf to the convenient ignition system and built-in temperature gauge. "DO NOT BUY A NAPOLEAN PRODUCT! Submitted warranty claim 15 days ago and still have not received them. The parts needed are the first ones to start assembling. No urgency from Napoleon. Will not recommend."

"Great BBQ and quality service. We bought our BBQ from Amazon and it was damaged in shipping. When I spoke to Amazon they said speak to Napoleon I did and had a wonderful customer service agent named Micheal he listened to what happened and without question sent us the parts to repair the BBQ at no cost to us. Its service like this that has us being a loyal Napoleon customer."

Very Unhappy!

"Very Unhappy with this grill. Box was not damaged but grill lid has big gank and bent from factory packaging. Not a big, but the rest of this grill is junk. We put it together according to the directions. The door falls off continuously! Poor design. We used this grill twice. There is something wrong with the regulator. If I turn it down on low or medium to cook, it goes out every single time, wind or no wind! The propane is on fully, there is no user error. Have used gas grills for 25 years and this is ridiculous! I expected better after reading reviews and am returning it after less than 2 weeks!"

Nice grill but flimsy base stand.

"The grill portion of the natural gas, four burner, grill seems to work just fine. The unit is attractive. This grill is a replacement for my 10 year old Napoleon “mirage”. Admittally, over time the manufacturing costs have increased and firms change models and manufacturing process to fit economic conditions. Thus, the overall impression is a step down in terms of satisfaction. My main concern is the poor fit and durability of the grill stand/base unit. Very light weight framing and side panels. Craftsmanship and assembly quality control is bothersome. Within a month I had to replace door hinges and add many more sheet screws to keep panels in place. Flimsy. is the most accurate description of the unit. Sad result for a $800 expenditure. Please note, I recognize the grill model is a step down in terms of the older model I had. I chose this unit in a bit of desperation as it was just before Christmas and the six stores i shopped, it was the only natural gas unit, as all others were propane units."

"This grill is worthless. It cannot even cook a 7 lb turkey breast in under four hours. It does not hold temperature well. I replaced my old grill with this grill and let me tell you, it was not worth the money."
