"The ash pot is difficult to put back in place because the three posts on the pot are not all visible when bending down to install and obviously, neither are the slots that the pins fit into. Neither the Manual nor the Assembly Guide identify two mysterious attachments to the back left leg. The designated cover is a clumsy fit. It is awkward to fit and remove."
"Once built, the grill seems solid. The issues are with the parts and instructions. Instructions call for a 7/16 wrench for the wheels. The wheels actually take a 9/16. I have no idea what step 28 wants me to do (see photo). I was short washers and had to go to the local hardware store just to complete the build. I have a left-over bracket (holder?) that is not referenced anywhere in the instructions. A great grill but at this price point to have so many QC issues is very, very disappointing."

"Not as good as the main competitor. Heavy iron grates that are impossible to move when hot, even harder to clean. No offset vent on top, dead center which makes zero sense for smoking. Lower charcoal grate has a big lip around the edge which prevents accurate charcoal placement against the side of the kettle for offset cooking. I could go on. Really regret this purchase, should have just bought a new performer to replace my nearly 25 year old model instead of this. So much for buying Canadian."

"After a couple of hours of carefully following instructions (some images require careful scrutiny to ensure correct orientation of some parts) and assembling the Pro22, it is clearly a very well made and thoughtfully designed product. I have used the BBQ just once thus far, and found it to be easy to operate and it produced excellent results (using Napolean Lumpwood charcoal). I previously used another leading BBQ brand, which gave good service, but the Napolean feels to me like a superior product. I am looking forward to using it time and time again in the future, and would highly recommend the product to friends."

"Very good bbq, heats up quick and really nice to cook on. Would have given five stars, but there were a couple of small parts missing from the box. I notified Napoleon of the missing parts and they shipped them right away, no problem at all. Also, the assembly instructions whilst not bad, could do to be a little clearer in some parts. Overall I’m very pleased with the bbq and the service I received from Napoleon when I needed parts."
"Did a ton of research before purchasing the Pro22 w/cart model, and really happy with the final decision. Still getting used to the temperature settings, which will take time to master. I also purchased the grill cover, drip trays, cast iron reversable griddle, and charcoal baskets for indirect cooking. The griddle covers most of the grille, which is great, as I am not a big fan of charcoal black marks on my food (not the healthiest to eat that). Easy to clean up as well. Overall, 5 stars to this great kettle."
