"This is the 2nd Napoleon grill I've owned. The previous the slightly smaller 500 RSIB Pro which I loved but we sold with our house knowing I would get a larger size at our new place. I did so and moved up to this 665 and love all the extra grill real estate as making a variety of things at one time are now possible. Things I see as nice improvements are the stow away top shelf which stays on the grill when not in use, very nice. The casters are a huge step up as my old grill (only 4 years old so not old at all) had the older caster style which failed on me within the first 2 years of use on our deck and replacing the casters, while straightforward, wasn't easy due to the heavy weight of the assembled grill. These new casters are phenomenal and roll very well and are very sturdy. Quality of build is on par with Napoleon products, very sturdy materials (not the cheap pop metal many out here have, including some name brands that sell for high prices). The new flame tamer design seems to work very well as I work with a lot of greasy marinades, and my flame ups seem much more reduced than on my previous 500 Napoleon where I had to stand guard with a water spray bottle at times. The things I wish would be an option on this grill are inside and under cabinet lights like the Pro, the sliding propane tank shelf and most of all the outside marinade shelves on the end of the Pro series that was a great place to put my marinades and water bottle versus taking up the side shelf space. I went with this knowing it didn't come with these features and not really seeing the value in these until I didn't have them. By no means should that detract from the quality of this grill as this is a grilling dream that is solidly built to last many years. Overall, I love this brand and this grill and will always be a Napoleon customer."
"Purchased in April through Tester Team Program but only recently assembled alongside a kitchen remodel. Product shipping and packaging was excellent. Assembly instructions can use some improvement, hard to follow with only pictures and multiple models included in the same instructions. I was missing 2 small screws, paperwork indicated to send an email to a specific address, that was sent back as unmonitored and took awhile to determine a warranty claim needed to be filed. Claim was processed quickly but said 15 days for shipping, a little frustrating. This is my 4th grill from Napoleon and minor enhancements continue to be good but the overall core performance of the grill seems to stay consistent and of high quality. I feel this grill performs the best so far in terms of even heat distribution and how quickly it warms up. 7 grills into it with a combination of meats, veggies and fruit I am nothing but happy. I wish the grills came with a cover and drip try liner out of the box. My only frustration is how quickly discolored and burnt on the grates get. The stainless out of the box is beautiful, but can never get them back to even a close shine/polish and I clean the grill before/after every use."
"Researched all the different option and landed on this one. Tons of space to cook, which is great when we have people over. Heats up fast and cooks evenly. The side sear burner gets super hot, nice for steaks. Everything feels solid, and it’s easy to use. Some assembly but overall, no complaints. Definitely feels like an upgrade."
"What a beautiful grill! I was between the Prestige 500 and the Prestige 665, but with a growing family and the fact that I like to entertain I figured the larger cooking space would come in handy. I love having the extra burner and the ability to have different heat zones depending on if I am going protein or vegetables, or if I just need to keep something warm. I really like the extra length on the rotisserie and have been using the rotisserie basket for french fries while cooking burgers. This grill has everything I need!"
"I love this BBQ. It is made in Canada and has some great features. The size is its big selling feature with lots of space for cooking for larger gatherings but at a more budget friendly price than the Pro. The rear and side burners expand my options too and I love using the grill basket on the rotisserie. No light inside - if you want that you have to go with the PRO version - but this is a great BBQ."
"It's the same great Prestige grill you've likely seen before, but more of it. Literally, one extra burner more. Honestly, it's a great grill for the right family, but for the average person shopping, I would recommend the smaller Prestige 500. Both great options."
"We have always purchased another big named brand grill. The last 2 grills did not last very long. We saw this grill and had to have it. The quality is outstanding. The sear burner is amazing. And the warranty is top notch. Our son saw ours and bought one the next day. Nothing but good things to say!! Love it!"
