Overall good but small things that reduce overall rating
"The bbq is great for the most part. A few details leave something to be desired. The drip pan doesn’t line up very well so it hits the edge and drips a bit into the bottom beside the propane tank. The door doesn’t latch solidly either (the magnet is terrible and small). The side burner runs very hot even at the lowest temperature which is a bit annoying as you have to get something to raise it so it isn’t so close to the flame if you don’t want to burn whatever you have on there."
Good Product with some quality control issues
"The bbq works very well though I would have preferred a larger warming grid since I used it a lot on my previous bbq. The unit heats up quite hot even on the lowest setting so I would like to use the warming grid to cook some foods which can burn quickly without having to check on them constantly. The setup instructions were not best that I have seen. I had to go back and disconnect the side burner in order to connect the ignition wire to the burner control before installing it to the front panel. It was the only way that I could see how to line up the plug properly to do the connection. Also, the front door does not stay closed since the magnetic catch doesn’t hold it shut the same way the display model in the store did. Finally, why are there eight bolts left over? I followed the instructions as shown."

"The unit was delivered assembled, but there were some damaged parts. I figured I would call customer service and just have the parts replaced. I had 2 calls with over an hour wait time and no answer. I sent an email and it was returned server not responding. I sent the whole unit back"
Great investment
"Excellent grill. Love how fast it heats up, great for searing, grilling or going slow. Assembly was relatively easy, just a few hiccups as the plans could be a little more detailed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a new BBQ."

Poor instructions/Lacking parts
"Assembly Instructions don't account for side burner or parts are missing. Very frustrated about this. Emailed and got no response. Waited on hold with Customer Services for over an hour . . . BBQ is just sitting there half completed. Too bad as I need to buy another one but won't be getting another 425 SB"
Very good grill for the money
"Over quality is very good at this price point and I've had no issues outside of some damage to the left side of the base. The box did not have any damage so it appears the damage was done pre-packing. It appears something was dropped on the top of the left side panel (as you look at grill). I was able to bang it back into shape with a rubber mallet and it went together without issue. So I did not contact customer service. The instructions need to be clearer in a few sections. But I've seen worse. Grill cooks great and gets hot in a hurry. Temperature gauge maxes out completely. So it may be off, but the grates say 600+ with a laser thermometer. I'm a little disappointed with the damage, more so that it shipped out like that. Again the box and inside packing was undamaged, so it happened before packing. Would have been 5 stars otherwise."
