"Great, sturdy grill companion! I've always been frustrated by charcoal storage - there is always is so much left in the original paper bag and invariably, I leave it out and it gets rained on, spilled, or otherwise messy and ruined. This bag holds an ample amount of material and keeps the remainder of the charcoal contained and ready for next use. Good stuff."
"Napoleon sent me this Charcoal Storage Bag as part of a testing group. My outdoor cooking area is uncovered, so I have to say this is a much-needed accessory. The bag is large, with two zippered pockets perfect for a few small wood blocks or other items. Just happens that is rained the first day I set it out and it worked really well. Nice and dry inside even though it took a fair bit of rain to the outside. I also like the clipped strap at the top, making it easy to hook up to the deck railing. Looking forward to using this all season."
"This bag beats my expectations. I was expecting it to maybe hold a 10lb bag of charcoal but it will easily handle a 30lb bag. It seems to be constructed very well and out of good materials. Says that it is waterproof but I’m not going to risk a bag to see if that is true. The storage pockets are good size. The wood chip one holds a lot of news paper. It’s a little clunky with a 20lb bag in it and it isn’t easy to pour from it with the handle as described. Overall I am very pleased as now everything is in one place from charcoal to starter no more multiple trips to the shed."
"I recently received this storage bag as part of the Napoleon tester team. Though it is something I wouldn’t have thought of purchasing, I have been very impressed with it. It is well-made with heavy duty stitching. This storage bag easily fits a full-size bag of charcoal and so far it appears to be remarkably water resistant, keeping our charcoal dry despite a decent rain yesterday. I am confident that it will stand up to the elements–we own other Napoleon products with covers that are standing up to everything that mother nature throws at them. Love the zippered storage pockets that keep everything I need close by, meaning fewer trips into the house!"
"Charcoal Storage Bag is a good choice to store your hardwood or charcoal. Keeps them dry and handy. Be careful not to overload the bag as it can get heavy and hard to lift. Could use a lifting helper handle to assist with pouring out the contents. Otherwise, a good choice."
"Napolean gave me the opportunity to test out this charcoal bag. It’s a great quality bag! It will fit a lot of charcoal. I was happy to get the charcoal out of the corner of my living room, and place it in the bag outside. My only small downside is we got a lot of rain, and some water did get in the bag. Perhaps I didn’t have it closed all the way or secured properly. All that being said it’s a great bag, and I’m so glad I have a very nice bag to put charcoal in now!"

"When Napoleon first asked me to review this Charcoal Storage Bag, I wondered what I would be able to say about a bag that stores charcoal. Well, now that I have put it into use I can say that it does exactly what you think it would, which is great. It is well put together, has handles in all of the right spots and even has pockets for your starters, wood chips or whatever other charcoal related item you might have. It is large. A 10 lb bag of charcoal barely filled the bottom third of the bag. No more flimsy, torn or fragile paper bags for me. It’s easy to transport, easy to pour, and water resistant. A solid accessory for the charcoal griller."
"I had the pleasure to receive and test the Napoleon Charcoal Storage Bag. The bag looked water resistant, well made and well thought out with a handle and storage for fire starters, etc. I was correct in my initial evaluation, well made. The bag looked very large and could get heavy. So I tested my hypothesis with a 20 pound bag of Kamado Big Block charcoal. I use this charcoal in my smoker and in my Napoleon Cast Iron Charcoal Smoker Tray. The bag size made it difficult to pour the charcoal into my Napoleon tray. I would like to see the bag at 16” wide. 22” is too wide and makes it hard to pour charcoal. I live in the Pacific Northwest and the bag with the charcoal bag has been out in the rain and preformed well. My only complaint is the width of the bag; a little too large for me. And I’m 6’ 2” tall."
"I recently got to try out the Napoleon Charcoal Storage Bag. My first thought and probably yours too, why do I need a bag to store my charcoal in? I'll give you my two reasons, this bag keeps all the charcoal and charcoal dust inside the bag and it keeps water out. Every charcoal bag I've ever come into contact with is made out of paper and usually has at least one hole in it. When I first took the bag out of the box and unfolded it, I was pleasantly surprised with how large it is. I can easily fit two of the 18 pound bags of charcoal inside of this that I had on hand. This would also hold one of the larger 30 pound bags as well. The top zips up and rolls over to keep the rain out, so this is a perfect bag to take camping or to the beach. I was also impressed with the two large pockets on the outside of the bag that would hold a bottle of lighter fluid and some other small accessories. If you grill on-the-go this is really a must have if you want to keep the back of your car or SUV clean and free of charcoal dust. It's a 10/10 for me."
