"My initial delivery had a broken cast iron griddle top. Warranty replaced it and the replacement arrived broken as well, in the same area, an obviously common issue they must have. It has now been 4 days and 3 emails since responding about the broken replacement parts and still no reply about a resolution. I am going on almost a month since purchasing and I am still unable to use this grill."
"ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, DOESN'T HONOR WARRANTY NOR DO THEY ALLOW YOU TO REGISTER FOR WARRANTY (website errors prevent it)! CUSTOMER SUPPORT NEVER CALLS BACK, IF YOU OPT TO WAIT ON HOLD YOU'LL BE ON HOLD INDEFINITELY. I GUESS THE NEXT STEP IS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC & STATE LEVEL CONSUMER PROTECTION OFFICE"
"I cannot recommend this product. You would either complain about the broken grid inside of the box due to lack of secure packaging or something to do with paint peeling off some area of the grill after one good use. My review is not to influence but just to make awareness of what is highly possible to occur."

"I bought this kettle grill at Costco last May 24, 2025 and got delivered today May 27, 2025. It was easy to assemble not until I was going to finally put the grate and part of the grate was broken and some cracks on it. I was so disappointed as I was so excited to use it and it's not a cheap grill. Hoping they will notice this and send me a replacement."
"Just bought this a few days ago from Costco. I was super excited to upgrade to this pro model after having the regular 22"" kettle for the past few years. The cast iron grate came broken right out of the box. Coating on the metal grate that holds the charcoal also comes damaged/chipped. Called customer service as all URL links are broken to process a warranty claim for replacement parts. Customer service put me on hold for over 2 hours so I requested to hold my place in the queue and have Napoleon call me back. It's now 12 hours later and I still have not received a call. Napoleon, please do better and either fix your broken online warranty claim URLs or please call me back so I can get some support. I am quite frustrated and would really appreciate this. Thank you."
"Hey team, Not sure if anyone from Napoleon team get to look into this issue, but it seem very common. The cast icon was broken when I received and unboxing was so SAD! I was really looking forward to using it for a party for my son's birthday this weekend. I hope someone from product development can improve shipment/package. "I was overjoyed to receive the Napoleon Professional 22' Charcoal Kettle as a Christmas gift. While I was unpacking the rather large box, carefully removing each component, dreaming about all the delicious foods I would cook on my new Napoleon. I could not have been happier. But, that feeling of elation would soon change when I got to the bottom of the box. I was devasted to find the cast iron grate shattered in pieces. Finding the cast iron grate in pieces gets one to question putting this product on a wish list. It gets one to think about the overall quality of the product. You would think the product engineers would have developed a better box to minimize stresses on the grate during shipping. As it stands today, I have a kettle but no grate. I do, however, have a case number from Napoleon customer service, wherein they promised to ship a replacement grate in a month or two. Until then, I cannot fully review the Napoleon Professional 22' Charcoal kettle, and my dreams of grilling on my Napoleon are on hold along with a favorable review."
